Wayne & Wendy Crownover

LEAD PASTORS

Pastor Wayne and Wendy founded River City as a new church plant in 1999. Pastor Wayne grew up in Southern Idaho, where his parents pastored for 55 years, and Wendy is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. Married in June 1995, they share a deep love for Boise, the Treasure Valley, and a passion for seeing spiritually lost people come to know Christ.

They have two children: Sabrina and Hunter. Sabrina and her husband, Matthew Lee, serve on the River City Pastoral Team as Youth and Worship Pastors. Hunter is actively involved in worship as a drummer, serves on the sound team, and is part of the RC Youth staff.

Pastor Wayne is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God Fellowship and serves on the Executive Presbytery of the Southern Idaho Ministry Network of AG Churches.

In their free time, Wayne and Wendy enjoy Idaho’s great outdoors—camping, fishing, paddle boarding, golfing, hiking, and hitting the gym. Pastor Wayne is also an avid bowhunter and dedicated outdoorsman.
